Ukrainian emergency crews responded to fires and structural damage across Kyiv following a Russian ballistic missile attack on the capital.

Video from the scene shows firefighters working among damaged buildings as smoke rises from affected areas. City officials reported damage in several districts, including shattered windows, fires involving electrical infrastructure and a strike on a roadway.

Authorities later issued the all-clear, ending the immediate air-raid warning. Emergency crews remained at the scene to extinguish fires, assess damage to buildings, and assist residents.

The attack injured at least eight people, including an 11-year-old boy, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Four of the injured were taken to the hospital, while the others were treated at the scene.
